How can you plan your future if you don’t know what to do? Let’s take a look in the following bible verses to help you determine what is next in your life?
What does the scriptures says about planning….
“The plans of the diligent one surely make for advantage” –Proverbs 21:5
“Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your feet, and let all your ways be established” –Proverbs 4:26;8
“Trust in the Lord will all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding: In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” –Proverbs 3:5-6
The work place is both a scary and exciting place. But make sure that whatever career you take GOD is the center of it. Set goals that will help you to grow everyday spiritually, mentally, socially physically and emotionally.
In finding your purpose in work….
“For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible everything got started in HIM and finds its purpose in HIM.” –Colossians 1:16
“Therefore whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” –1 Corinthians 10:31
In the real world there will be lots of temptations but choose to live a life that will please and glorify God.
In finding core and focus…..
“While we keep our eyes not to the things seen, but on the things unseen, for the things seen are temporary but the things unseen are everlasting. ”–2 Corinthians 4:18
“…Walk as children of Light.” –Ephesians 5:8
Be truly RICH; rich in Love, Forgiveness, Friends, Wisdom, Charity, Character and Knowledge.
Moreover, have faith in God’s love for He is your provider and He will never give upon you.
“I am your Creator. You were in my care even before you were born.” –Isaiah 44:2
“I have carried you since you were born; I have taken care of you from your birth, even when your hair turned gray. I will take care of you. I made you and will take care of you.” –Isaiah 46:3-4
“Casting all your fear upon Him, for He cares for you.” –1 Peter 5:7
“The Lord Himself watches over you.” –Psalm 121:5
“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.” –Matthew 6:8
When you feel inferior in work and when you feel helpless God is faithful.
“God chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerless.” –1 Corinthians 1:27
“Therefore humble yourself to the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.” –1 Peter 5:6
When you are afraid to move forward and you don’t know what to do God is your strength.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye” –Psalm 32:8
“For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind.” –2 Timothy 1:7
People may reject us but we are precious to the eyes of GOD. The world may frighten us but GOD is our strength. Circumstances may knock us down but GOD will help us each step of the way.
Let’s rejoice because as we graduate from College we will begin to face another chapter of life. Do not be afraid because as it was written “ if God is for us, who can be against us?”
